Artist's Comments

城のさくらが咲いている - (The castle cherry blossoms are blooming) This was taken in Kyoto, just outside, you guessed it, a castle. Nijō Castle (二条城 ) to be exact. You can see the wall of it in the background. This was one of the only times I really got to see sakura on my trip because it was so cold that spring.
